FIELD USE GUIDELINES

PROPER FIELD USE

Respect the Facilities – Treat all fields, gyms, and equipment with care.
Report Damage – Notify MCUSD staff immediately if any damage occurs.
Follow Scheduled Use – Only use the facility during your reserved time.
Use Proper Equipment – Only use approved sports equipment on the fields and in gyms.
Follow Safety Guidelines – Ensure all participants follow safety protocols and facility rules.
Secure Doors & Gates – Close and lock all doors and gates after use
Use Mats for Heavy Equipment – Place mats under heavy or sharp objects to prevent floor damage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NON-PROPER FIELD USE

No Digging – Do not dig holes or alter the playing surface on baseball/softball infields or fields.
No Cleats in Gyms – Only wear appropriate indoor shoes; no cleats or hard-soled shoes allowed.
No Unauthorized Equipment – Do not bring unauthorized equipment (e.g., batting cages, heavy weights, unapproved nets).
No Food or Drinks in Gyms – Water only inside gymnasiums; no sports drinks, gum, or food.
No Unauthorized Field Marking – Only MCUSD staff may paint lines or add chalk to fields.
No Hanging on Basketball Hoops – Avoid hanging or pulling on basketball rims or nets.         
No Unsupervised Activities – A responsible adult must always be present during facility use.
No Smoking, Alcohol, or Drugs – MCUSD facilities are strictly drug- and alcohol-free zones
No Unauthorized Vehicles on Fields – Do not drive or park vehicles on any playing surfaces.
