National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) Scholarship

Deadline: Nominations will be accepted through September 15, 2023.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: • Applicant must be under the age of 21, as of September 1, 2023 • Applicant be actively pursuing post-secondary education • Applicant must be eligible for McKinney-Vento assistance or have experienced homelessness while in school within the last six years • Undocumented students who meet these criteria are eligible • Parameters on homeless status are defined by the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act.

College Board Scholarship for Juniors

The College Board Opportunity Scholarship is a unique program that rewards students for following six steps which align directly with the college-planning process. Every 11th grade student is eligible to participate, and half of the scholarships are designated for families earning less than $60,000 per year. Some highlights of the scholarships are:

  • There are no entry qualifications, essays, or applications. Every student is eligible!
  • Students are rewarded for completing college-planning steps they are already doing such as filling out the FAFSA, and exploring college and scholarship opportunities online.
  • $500 scholarships are drawn monthly between January of their Junior year through February of their Senior year.
  • Students who complete all six steps below are eligible for the final drawing of twenty-five $40,000 scholarships.

 

Eric J Dalius Giving Scholarship

Eric J Dalius foundation has been focusing on boosting easy access to post-secondary education via grants as well as scholarships. EJ Dalius is a hardcore marketing professional who achieved his degree in Marketing with flying colors from Penn State University. However, Eric Dalius started his career in marketing predominantly via the ‘Network Marketing Business Model’ or the MLM despite his hectic and jam-packed schedules. Eric provided coaching to new and already existing organizations seeking expansion in their services and products via MLM distribution.

California Alarm Association Scholarship 

The California Alarm Association awards a total of $32,500 in funds to children of active duty law enforcement and fire service personnel in the State of California. 

Deadline to Apply: Early December, 2023

Award Amount: 100% tuition coverage
