Mariposa County INTEREST-FREE Student Loans:

The purpose of the Mariposa County Student Loan Association is to promote the educational future of Mariposa County High School graduates by providing interest-free loans for college/trade school expenses. The Student Loan Association provides interest-free loans to Mariposa's graduating high school students for college/trade school expenses. The loans are repaid as the students graduate or end their educational pursuits. Mariposa County Student Loan Association was founded on March 5, 1953, when a group of 18 civic, fraternal and religious organizations came together to assist college bound students. Today, the association continues with strong community members. The main purpose of the loans is to encourage the youth of our community to continue on to college and prepare for more efficient service to the county and state. If you have any questions about the application process or the association, please contact Jim Allen at sheriff@sti.net. Download the Mariposa County Student Loan Application.
